Hey rusty

So, when I first came to playing WoW I leveled an Arms Warrior and played it for a while, but at some point I ended up leveling a rogue through BGs and fell in love. I raided as a rogue for a while now, and leveled her to 90 the day MoP came out. Got her fully geared in heroic dungeon gear and now got my warrior to 90 while waiting on the rest of my guild to get to 90. After reconnecting with my Warrior on the quests and dungeons I am really considering bringing it back for this expansion raiding as rogue Damage has seemed to have gone down the toilet.

My only question word be what you recommend for professions for a dps raiding warrior?
Any info would be great thanks!

Currently im BS and JC. It's not the most min/max professions for us but I couldn't part with JC because of how much time and effort I put into getting all the recipes. But to answer your question: I would go BS/Engineering especially early in the expansion since you can get a great epic helm right off the start and the Synapse Springs enchant is a good dps CD.

I have a question pertaining to our rotation. When the cooldown on CS is at around 6-7 seconds, and you are at let's say 40 rage what fillers would you use in anticipation for CS?

This might be a silly question, but in your opener, what does the "IS" stand for when you say "CS+IS"?

just a quick expertise question,

I play a human so I get the Sword / Mace specialisation (+ 1%).

Currently I have a sword and an axe so my main hand expertise rating is 1% higher than off hand...should I just reforge etc. to cap the main hand expertise and have my offhand 1% below or cap both and have main hand 1% above cap until I get my second sword?

For TG, WW w/glyph > WS in all single target scenarios, correct?

Not 100% sure anymore ever since the buff to WS. I know for a fact that it's definitely superior for SMF, though.

I'm going to have to test it some more because it's pretty close. I haven't raided with it yet because there has been better glyph choices from a progression standpoint.

Avatar vs Bloodbath, which one do you prefer Rusty? Or do you swap a lot from fight to fight? Avatar does allow for awesome burst (and those execute phases with all cds are lovely), but it feels like Bloodbath is a little more versatile.

I had a quick question about your opening rotation, Rusty.

The way I do mine is: (Battle Stance) charge> Skull Banner > BT > Avatar/Bloodbath > Dragon Roar > Reck if 0 RB stacks > CS+IR > Reck if 1+ RB stacks > BT...

I noticed that you use Skull Banner a whole 2-3 GCDs before Reck. I was under the impression that we would always want to use Banner and Reck simultaneously, to get the full benefit of our increased crit chance.

But on the other hand, assuming Skull Banner was only used during Recklessness in your opening rotation, then where would Dragon Roar fit in? Considering it's a guaranteed crit, then we'd be wasting a GCD of Reck instead.

I'm trying to make sense of when to use Dragon Roar in my opener. Is there a specific reason why you chose your particular sequence?

You kind of answered it there yourself, didn't you? You use skull banner before dragon roar so that it hits considerably harder but obviously it's a waste to use recklesness before dragon roar so you delay it slightly. Also it's not the biggest deal with not getting the full benefit of recklessness and skull banner since the entire raid gets full use of it for those 2-3 GCDs which is the most important quality of the banner.

gear's seems to be at the stage where fury is better than arms for me, one thing im curious about you mention trying to pool rage until the next cs, should I always be filling every gcd between BT with a WS or RB if i have them or is it worth using HT or BS to get rage as high as possible even if it means doing very little dmg prior to that CS. Also if i have a cs up, a bloodsurge proc and only 1 RB charge should I RB even if i have nothing to use after it or WS x3 instead as sometimes it seems as if Im missing out on RB usage due to only have HT and BS to fill those xtra gcds after it.

Now that bloodsurge can refresh back to maximum charges without being depleted first, should I still be using all three charges before I BT again?

I've been playing around with it and trying to get it so that I'm using only a few charges and not delaying BT. No definite answer on what's better as of yet.
