I don't recall Sunfyre advocating the opposite.

I do remember OTHER druids advocating crit during the beta, when things were still being solidified. Also people were and are still recommending crit if you are UNABLE to reach the haste breakpoint given your current gear level. Could that be what you are thinking of?

At the moment I go for 5273 haste for the extra dot tick with Nature's Grace, after that I prioritize crit

That's pretty not right.

The one extra dot tick is not worth sacrificing that much crit
