Blacksmiths hammer, mining pick, skinning knife - although there have been certain alternatives along the way (starting all the way back in vanilla ZG with the skinning knife).
In the same grp you could put Philosophers Stone and enchanting rods (they can now be upgraded, but basically they remain the same by themselves).

The first group of items you mentioned have changed. Mining Picks aren't even necessary anymore for mining, but they do grant skill increases As for Philosopher's Stones and Enchanting Rods, you don't need to make new versions of enchanting rods anymore. Philosopher's Stones, did those even exist in Vanilla? I was certain they were a BC addition...

Quality-colour, althought you could say the way people percieve quality changed, the ranking has stayed the same - grey, white, green, blue, purple, orange (red - not in game...).
