Christmas Ideas?

I want to get my dad something cool for christmas this black friday. I have around 500$ to spend, that ive worked for and i think this year its time to get him something not fucking retarded, something that he will actually like. Things he already has that everybody always mentions: we have like 4 60" tvs so no to that, he has a good computer and shit, so that as well no.

Could you do some kind of event? A trip? Something unconventional? Last year, for instance, I bought an Elvis cuckoo clock that did various snippets of his songs on the hours. My mother loved Elvis, loved knicknacks, and it wasn't too expensive. Maybe something outside the box like that?

I really don't know but I think if you bought music he likes, probably some tools if your dad likes them, I don't know.

Hard to guess since we don't know what your dad likes.

If he collects artifacts and all that, I think getting some kind of porcelain figure or something would be a good idea too.

Take him to a top resturant(like fucking great one) and treat him to a 3/5-course dinner.
Everyone likes to eat at brilliant resturants. Yes it's "just food", but it's still a thing most people appriciate.

Not sure if you live in a city or in the countryside btw, so that might not be an option.

If your dad is the outdoors type. Fishing gear, guns, etc are a plus....
If your dad is completely city with no time available due to work get him ipad, maybe a snazzy BBQ/smoker.
Unortodox would be if your dad is way busy, using your money to free up his time. Couple of months of a lawn boy paid, housecleaner, etc... anything that helps recover the evenings or weekends.
