A: I don't know who is the "most neglected" but we have plans for draenei.

That points no where near Burning Legion expansion.
That was quite a big stretch from a single answer..
I'm not sure why so many people are interested in another Burning Legion expansion... it's as if they believe that the Burning Legion would return, that the Burning Crusade gameplay design decisions would somehow return with it.
Like somehow it will be Burning Crusade part 2... the return to hard-ass dungeons, atunements, long-ass raids, banning LFR and goodness knows what else...
Yeah, I'm not seeing it. The Draenei could be involved in the story in many ways, doesn't even have to be long term, but they might get a bit of limelight during Mists even. Like the Blood Elves have gotten recently.
The thing that makes you say "must be Burning Legion" is because that's the only time we've heard of the Draenei. Doesn't mean it has to stay that way. In fact preferably not. I'd love to see them get more involved with life on Azeroth, or at least the part outside Azuremyst isle.
Sounds like a scenerio

Aren't there a lot of draenei NPC's in the next patch at Lion's Landing? Thats probably what he meant hehe.
Jokes aside though, I hope they do get some love. I do love me some Draenei!
Plans for the Draenei: Velen was summoned by Varian to tend to Anduin after he got beaten up destroying the Divine Bell..
Even though that comment points no where near if any burning crusade like expansions coming in the near future, it could mean as little as letting flying mounts on Azuremist and Eversong, or it could be as big as maybe a dungeon where the Legion is trying to invade again, however I think an expansion is a little too far fetched currently
People are so blinded by nostalgia, it's pretty funny. That's exactly it. People miss BC and want WoW to be how it was, but it will never be. That expansion is gone forever. Remember the good times you had and just forget about everything else. If Blizzard brings back the Burning Legion, it will be so different to BC, so people need to stop getting their hopes up. I mean I think in general Burning Legion is long overdue, but if people think it's going to be like BC, just stop right there. Don't even think it anymore. It won't be. I really do think we will have another planet or something along those lines next expansion though. That itself would be bad ass.
Despite appearences the Burning Legion didn't really feature in TBC that much; it was more about Illidan & Blood Elves than anything else. Aside from Sunwell there were a few little camps spread around but that was pretty much it.
For all you know they might be aiming to make some Draenei themed underwear as sold by Jinx with a hole in the back for the tail.

while i think your right in that a good portion of people probably think that i think it has more to do with the burning legion being the most iconic wow villains and for alot of wow players i think it would almost feel like a "coming home" of sorts or finally getting to the big guys when it comes to poster boy villains.
theres also people like me who want it because it most likely means were finally gonna get the demon hunter class

Ah, interesting subject. Discussed this with a few old vets now, and it does seem likely with hints dropped here and there that the next expansion, while not necessarily focused on only the Burning Legion, while at least have a strong other world feel I suspect. It's not that far fetched really when you get down to the nitty gritty; after we're done in Pandaria, we will be back to an uneasy ceasefire with the Horde, correct?
Furthermore, have we not, over the years, countered almost all of the major threats on Azeroth? This latest upheaval in MoP would have been an internal Pandaria affair and quite possibly never have happened if not for the Horde and the Alliance bringing their old disputes to the shores of a new continent. Just what is left on Azeroth? The loose ends of a few plots and the Emerald Dream? Not quite enough just yet to make a solid basis for an expansion unless they're doing something almost utterly from scratch (like MoP, which, apart from the Pandaren, was made out of nowhere incorporating various other races and lore as they went) which is something that might not be likely, as a twitter revealed they were already working on something, which to me and others sound like they already had a few concepts to work on - possibly lingering around from the time before they went ahead with MoP development.
There are already things being tied up rather well in the game right now. The Scarlet Crusade is now poof. Gone. We will (hopefully) see further developments in the factions of the Horde and the Alliance throughout the expac, leading into the next one. The Black Prince leads on from Deathwing's legacy, hopefully by the end of the expac ending on a note of rebuilding and perhaps looking at what the respective factions are really doing on Azeroth; surviving or thriving?
These plot points could lead onto something that has been building up since Ulduar in WotLK; when the signal was released to the Titans. Perhaps it's not just the Burning Legion we should be concerned about, but perhaps it might be something along the lines of... World of Warcraft: The Celestial Vanguard.
More involvement from Ethereals, displaced Naaru and Outlands once again more of a focal point thanks to scenarios, Alleria Windrunner returning from an absence and a new faction for defending from various threats in the Nether headed by her and Turalyon's son in a Coalition of various races from Outlands headed by various champions such as Rexxar, the old woman with the apple cart, that bog giant who likes the Sporelings.. You get the picture. Not to mention demonic factions and political powerplays will the big guns KJ and Sargeras stay out of the small picture for now.
Lots of fun plots to follow up and plenty of things that could be recycled, if done well. The overall theme of the expansion would center around a contingent of Titan celestial creations came to either purge a planet and population of demonic and / or Old God infestation and beyond hope retrieval and from there, their own struggles against the Burning Legion which has quietly been amassing power elsewhere in the forms of resources and numbers, possibly leading into corruption of the Forsaken (previous ties to a Dreadlord and Sylvanas may get desperate after Garrosh faces the block), seeping into the Emerald Dream (a raid?) and culiminating in.. well, who knows?
Well, bite me. Anything can happen after Pandas. Right?

You mean so apart from the Black Prince showing us Azeroth under attack by infernal fire, the two elves lost in the Nether appearing next expansion.
Them creating a short story about Valum predicting the battle against the Legion.
You managed to pull it all out of that.
*facepalm*
Talk of the burning legion has been going for ages, and you managed to pick up the tiniest and worst possible sign for it.
