    need helping building new tower

Ok I have 800$ and am looking to build my first tower.

I raid 25mans in wow and want to run on ultra with no problems. The only piece I own that I would like to use is a gtx560ti overclocked video card. I would like to go with windows 8, but what ever is suggested Ill go with. Do you guys think its worth buying another gtx560 and run duels? Thanks for reading my post and possibly helping me... I live in the us. I dont need anything but the tower i have mouse keyboard and monitor. i run at 1980x1020

The card is fine but now you need a good cpu (sandy bridge or ivy bridge). So decide between a socket 2011 or 1155 motherboard and cpu setup.

I recommend sticking with Win 7 for now. Win 8 is still pretty new and I don't think it's faster than Win 7 when u game.

For sound you could use the onboard sound.

Take a look at some of the not so expensive suggested builds here at mmo-champ computer forums.

Also I don't recommend you run 2 gtx 560ti as you may not get any noticable fps increase plus that'd be an extra $300 for another 560ti.

I had a 560ti myself and I was able to play on ultra with good fps in 25mans (drops down to 30-40 in other zones/areas sometimes).

something like that should easily do the trick. (also headroom for downgrading cpu headsink and brand swapping on parts if you want to)

Maybe consider Seasonic G 550W, the Seasonic version of the HX series. $55 after $15 MIR. The price just keeps getting better and better http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817151119

meh not such a fan of the samsung ones , they aren't bad but speed aspect they are inferior to other ones imo. (also apple uses them which might cause me to stay clear of them, all brand choices are 9/10 times biased anyway)
PSU is a better alternative only searched for corsair one on that part

edit: i got no issues regarding samsung ones being reliable that isn't an issue but i do believe the speeds are lower compared to others (400mb/s vs 500mb/s +, for writes that is ,most reads are 500mb/s atleast)
consider it hating or not i prefer the higher performance one while being reliable, the first brand that comes to mind is intel for me.
they are rock solid for endurance that is for sure.
    different strokes for different folks.

Samsung SSDs have a reputation for reliability. I don't see how Apple has anything to do with anything besides hating.

Someone over at xtremesystems has written 5 petabytes to a Samsung 830 and its still going.

    Compared to:

alright the statistics are abit unbalanced , higher capacity drives always outpeform lower counterparts. (when looking at similar drives)
and who the hell would write 5 peta bytes of data on a single hdd? (5000000 GB is allot of rewriting of stuff something like 40000 complete rewrites of a 125gb drive? that is just madness imo )
also see edit for reason how and why of why the samsung one might not be the best one. (opinion anyway but i think you can understand the point im trying to convey beyond mere "hating")

good for the price but AMD cpu isn't that great for gaming.
also no harddrive or OS in that deal is making it lacking imo. (also never heard of APEX for case/PSU)

smaller and cheaper case + 8gb ram is plenty for just gaming. (full tower is HUGE , mid tower can easily fit all at with plenty of spare space)
also for the HDD wester digital is more reliable nowadays.
if possible get a ATX motherboard with a Z77 chipset, the B75 series cannot be overclocked. (you picked a mini-atx)
don't forget an aftermarket CPU cooler. (http://pcpartpicker.com/part/cooler-...r-rr212e20pkr1 should do fine)

ok i changed a few things up, I dont plan on overclocking the computer. I am not very knowladgeable and would screw it up. Do you think i still need a cooler if not? Thx for all your input. Here is the new link:[url]http://pcpartpicker.com/p/oP61

oc'ing is a cakewalk and will boost wow FPS allot an auto overclock can reach 4-4,2ghz on the i5-3570k (with the cooler i linked heat shouldn't be an issue either)
also you changed the wrong harddrive , the previous crucial m4 SSD is very good.
the big storage one (seagate 2TB) you might want to consider western digital green drive instead if just for storage.
for the mobo you likely won't need 2 eSATA ports? (check asrock extreme4 else)
