    [Fire] CombustionHelper

So, I rely on this add-on for tracking my ignite etc. But with 5.1, it is just a big clusterf*ck of LUA errors, because its tracking is off. Now, on the Curse website, I found this "fix":

Update line 885 to change the first parameter for select to 15:

    combuigndamage = select(15, UnitDebuff("target",GetSpellInfo(12654),nil,"PLAYER"))

it should be fixing everything, but I just cant seem to find in what file I need to change this? The 2 files I can open (xml files), both dont have a line with combuigndamage in it. So, I dont have a clue on how to fix this.

You can always try my addon for tonight . It doesn't bother with calculating the Combustion, instead it just shows you your Ignite and it's time left.

open Interface> Addons > Combustion Helper > CombustionHelper.Lua <-- open lua file with notepad, click on edit then go to line 885, highlight it , erase it, paste what you saw in that comment at curse. Fixt

Why are we still talking about Combustion helper. Combustion helper was a calculator for 33% pyro + 50% ignite damage. Now that Combustion only relies on Ignite you only need to look at your Ignite. So basically the only "HELPING" you would want is an addon that tracks Ignite.

Please correct me if I am wrong:
I tried it and it seems that the number generated by the Combustion helper is not correct.
    For example :
My Combustion ticks for 19.74 ever 0.94sec.
I had an ignition of 16554. Combustion helper recorded a combustion that would tick for 11576 x 22.

    So let's do some math:
    Ignition :
    16554 * (19.74/0.94)= 347634

    while combustion helper :

    11576 x 22 = 254672

I'd like to ask a question to you guys creating really nice addons like CH or Ignition :

Would it be possible to create an Addon that tracks the components of your Total Ignite ?

I mean like several bars with expiring values that tracks the different spell you used to create the ignite (Fireball/Pyro).

That would be useful when you want to place your Combu, especially with AT and POM, to see, for ex., if its interesting to place another POM Pyro when u had a Pyro Crit that is going to expire...

I don't know if im clear..

There is no such thing as ignite components. Every crit is added to current and merged with the remaining damage, the part coming from your first pyro won't fade before the others, they'll all fall together.

brave people can have a look at http://www.curseforge.com/media/file...Helper_3_4.zip to beta test version 3.4 before it goes approved.

When the Ignite building spell lands, an Ignite value is calculated and added to the target as a 4 second Ignite, ticking for 50% of its value every 2 seconds, if there is not currently an Ignite in place, or if there already is an Ignite on the target then that current Ignite's value is updated to include the new value, and the duration is extended by 4 seconds, ticking for 33% of its value every 2 seconds. It's easier to understand with examples. Assume base Mastery:

    Simple Example 1

No Ignite Currently on the target
00:00:000 - Fireball hits for 100,000 - 12,000 Ignite is added to the target with a 4 second duration
00:02:000 - Ignite ticks for 6,000 [6,000 left in the bank]
00:04:000 - Ignite ticks for 6,000 [0 left in the bank]

    Simple Example 2

No Ignite Currently on the target
00:00:000 - Fireball hits for 100,000 - 12,000 Ignite is added to the target with a 4 second duration
00:02:000 - Ignite ticks for 6,000 [6,000 left in the bank]
00:03:000 - Pyroblast crits for 300,000 - 36,000 Ignite is added to the already banked 6,000 for a new value of 42,000, with a duration of 5 seconds (4 seconds + the 1 second remaining before the next tick would have happened)
00:04:000 - Ignite ticks for 14,000 [28,000 left in the bank]
00:06:000 - Ignite ticks for 14,000 [14,000 left in the bank]
00:08:000 - Ignite ticks for 14,000 [0 left in the bank]

    Slightly More Complex Example

No Ignite Currently on the target
    00:00:000 - Pyroblast crits for 250,000 - 30,000 added to the bank
00:02:000 - Ignite ticks for 15,000 [15,000 left in the bank]
00:03:500 - Fireball crits for 150,000 - 18,000 added to the bank [32,000 left in the bank]
00:03:600 - Pyroblast crits for 350,000 - 42,000 added to the bank [74,000 left in the bank]
00:04:000 - Ignite ticks for 24,667 [49333 left in the bank]
00:04:350 - Pryoblast crits for 325,000 - 39,000 added to the bank [88333 left in the bank]
00:06:000 - Ignite ticks for 29,444 [58,889 left in the bank]
00:08:000 - Ignite ticks for 29,444 [29,445 left in the bank]
00:10:000 - Ignite ticks for 29,445 [0 left in the bank]
