Hearing guildmates say "Howling Ford" annoyed the hell out of me, also have a friend who pronounces "ogre" as "org".

I have a friend that insists on saying that Medivh is pronounced Medjah because he heard it that way in a machinima. Despite being told repeatedly that its pronounced Medeev, he just refuses to say it correctly. Come to think of it he does that a lot with some words.

Auchindoun is one that annoys me, considering I play on the realm of the same name. Orc-in-doon I beleive is the correct, pronunciation, derriving it's name from a Scottish castle (And, pronounced with a Scottish accent, Orc-in-doon just sounds right).

Alysrazor as well. I'm confident it's pronounced Alysra-zor and not Alice Razor.

Heh, I actually pronounce "WoW" incorrectly it seems, as I say "woe" too. Not sure if it is because I was brought up in England and whenever something surprised me and I would say "wow, that's surprising", i'd say it like "woe, that's surprising" instead of wauw (or however you'd write it). I actually have a danish friend who also says it like I do, and he gets "laughed" at too ^^ (my parents say "wow" the same way I do, I kind of find the common way of saying WoW to be rather "american").

I'm not sure if cultural things should be considered mispronunciation, by the strictest definition sure, but when literally an entire country pronounces it a certain way, I would just chalk that up to geography rather than an actual mistake.

The J is not silent t is pronounced differently.

Fjord would be said a f-y-ord.
You could say it's a nordic/norse/northern european word. A lot of old norse words have j's that sound like a way (EX: Mjolnir, gjörð, kjölr, Jol etc.)
