Anyone else tired of seeing "soon"?

Is there any news on this game coming out?

I played a few beta weekends and it was unbelievably fantastic. (minus napalm strikes. wtf)

Nah. I am registered and it just says "Coming Soon" on the game page.

Petroglyph (the devs) axed people and the open beta got a "indefinite delay".

Trion has since picked it up in-house (they were just publishing it before, but that did include providing support for the development) and will finish it there.

hrmm...

Good to hear they are addressing some of the beta/alpha concerns (I was in both) but I am slightly concerned about its release date being unknown.

That said, the stealth team was pretty not great compared to the support team for shadow. So hopefully that will get sorted out.

I just wish I could play it in the meantime.

What i have heard is the closed beta was good but there were a few problems that they want to sort out before they go open beta.
They have apparently given refunds to those that purchased the founder pack as well.
The theory i've heard is that the game is so good that they are going to make it at least a buy to play but that doesn't really explain the delay.
It is possible they have found some major flaws that will require a lot of work and since they don't know how long it'll take they are giving the refunds OR the game has died and wont be coming out at all

I have serious doubts that a game that people seem to want THIS BADLY would get canned.
Then again... starcraft Ghost.

I really hope it comes out first quarter of next year! Not had enough time to play the Beta but it looks amazing! Also, I know my bank will be hurting during Christmas. (Steam and presents ect)
