That mission took 12 hours in total. I learned a lot about how to play the game, which I guess is the point, but it was so long ;_;

Eh, the drama was nice, and the jokes were nice, but when they got tangled up so much like it did, it was a bit of a mess.

The game does very little to teach you. Instead, it gives you a goal, and lets you figure out how to reach it.

It is, but the game is super complex. You'll find things not even related to the quest that helps you reach it, that the game told you nothing about.

For example: You have to process food on an island and ship it to another island. To build food resources, you need a good Ecobalance. Well an oil spill happens off the coast, giving the island the "Black Tide" effect, completely ruining the Ecobalance and tripling the amount of farms you need for the same amount of resources.

Two quests later, you can build an item, equip it on a ship, and then take it and clean up the oil spill, bringing the ecobalance back in check, so you can reduce farm count, save on upkeep costs, and expand trade options for more money.

Thing is, game doesn't tell you to do it. Doesn't even show it to you. It just shows you the building where you can make it at (The same building that can also make about 30 other research projects)

That's exactly what this game does. Teaches you about the game without some silly tutorial. So these missions take a while, but they teach you everything you need to know about the game so when you do the Continuous Game Mode, which is the bread and butter of the game, you know what the heck you're doing
