Not really, some people just don't like sex.

Porn addiction is an actual thing. Something you can look up and your mind gets wired to thinking a certain way. It activates certain parts of the brain, and it can make actual sex with a woman more difficult (can have difficulty in getting/maintaining an erection).

In essence, Porn, like almost anything else, in high excess can be bad for you.

There is a big difference between having a choice in being a virgin... if you're a guy who tries to lose your virginity but have been unsuccessful, that would be more accepted because you're trying to fulfill your duties as a man & do what you're designed to do.
This may be the worst thing I've ever read, and I'm Gamdwelf.

Your duties as a man? The idea of a man is a social construct and so are the duties of one as such. Social constructs have little to do with evolutionary biology.

Sure men have big dicks in porn but if reality presented the same then it doesn't have negative ramifications at all.

What if you remain a virgin because you just haven't bothered?

Terrible evolutionary psychology that ignores the fact that men and women have both come to prefer having a stable relationship with a readily available sex partner (plus someone on the side, secretly) over "as many as possible". There's an emotional factor involved that breeding strategy leaves out.

Another good point, some of us are asexuals.

To be honest, I don't really know.

Normal should be interpreted as a range of behaviours falling within normality. For example, red hair is rare; but it is considered normal. Same reasoning ought to apply to sexuality (but of course the homophobic crowd never seems to notice my awesome redheads example).

I'm not asexual, I would love to have sex (that doesn't sound weird at all..) but it just hasn't been on my agenda.

Incidentally the same prevalence of everybody's favourite red heads. Which makes my example even more perfect

This isn't the first time you've mentioned this. I'm interested, you talk about a lot of self satisfaction but not being attracted to people. How does this work in your case? It would seem to me like you can't have one without the other.

So what would you call abnormal?

Some asexuals can and do self gratification.

I don't think you need to be an asexual to not have a sex drive.
