I just dont get why so many warriors are having issues figuring out what to do with MS/OP. You dont need reasons, you dont need explanations, MS > OP. Always. Almost at rage cap? Heroic strike. Dont have any stacks/low stacks of TfB? WHO CARES.

Its like people are obsessed to the point of wasting rage to get stacks high for no reason what so ever.

There needs to be a sticky at the top of this page thats says ARMS: MS > OP, the question is asked in almost every rotation/help thread.

Exactly. It's not hard to figure out at all.

Ok, let's take an example. You have 2 stacks of TFB. You use an Overpower, it procs TFB, and then you get another proc. Now you're at 4 stacks, and you have the opportunity to Overpower again, but you're going to rage cap on the next Melee attack, and you have CS available.

Obviously, the onus now is to dump the Rage on the Heroic Strike, inside the CS window, not to press OP again so you have a chance to get another stack. It's as simple as that.

This can be applied to every damn situation. You only need to worry about how much damage you do inside a CS window, it's that simple.

Is everything updated in this on the first page? I am redoing my dps offspec and want to make sure Im doing arms correctly with gemming enchanting and reforging. Thanks

It'll depend on your gear of course, but very roughly it will look like this:

hit > expertise > str > crit > mastery = haste

80 str 160 crit in red slots. 320 crit in yellow slows. 160 hit 160 crit in blue slots.

Anyway someone could look at my armory and critique me? We just came back from a 2 month "vacation" and we are going to try to catch up on this tier. I would like to not hold my raid back with sub par dps when im needed. Im one our tanks as my main spec but I get all plate dps gear so Ill catch up on gear quickly. Just need some thoughts on if im specced and gemmed properly. I logged in my arms spec and gear so I could get a critique.

Copy my gem pattern. That being said, until a certain point, it's better to gem strength/crit instead of pure crit. After crit is worth more than .5 strength, go to gemming crit over strength. Also get hit/expertise capped.
