It was nerfed to 2% at the start of the PTR. It's 3% right now.

They changed it back to 3%, but nerfed defensive stance by 10% instead. If you actually PvP, you'd understand that's a much better change.

No. They were thinking about nerfing it in 5.2, but the nerf wasn't good for unknown reasons so they reverted it. 10% less DR from defensive stance is still a pretty big loss of survivability.

Because these are the absolute final version of the 5.2 patch notes ever ever ever, not just some datamined partial listing with "THIS IS BEING UPDATED" at the top, without full explenation or designer intents. The Retribution spec will never be altered again for the next 6 months. OR EVER.

You haven't been playing WoW very long have you? The devs never have cared about helping Ret paladins, and to top it off they are not wanted in RBGS, some arena teams if you are lucky enough to find one, and low sustained damage. But guess what GC said the other day in an interview Ret paladins are where they want them to be. That should pretty much tell you all you need to know!
