I use InlineAura for all that kind of stuff. It just displays the duration on the hotkey itself. If there's no numbers, it means it's off. That does it for me. I try to avoid extra bars and shit that pops up or clutters up the screen all the time. Looks crappy and is kind of distracting.

I track it by looking at the timer. I don't see any reason to use an addon.

I just look tbh, I use the default WoW interface and I play my paladin pretty perfectly.

very rarely do I miss-time my abilities and lose out on it for two or so seconds.

CLCinfo. Lets me track my rotation, Trinkets, buffs/debuffs on me, anyone in the raid, or targets/focus.

Very useful for stuff like Sacred Shield, Hand of Sacrifice/Salvation, Inquisition, and what my Trinkets have left for the internal CD.

Tellmewhen here. I put a condition, at the end of the Inquisition, the screen shakes

I'm not saying it CAN'T be done that way, but its harder to do it with the default UI and you get no benefit for doing it that way. You COULD track it by counting to 30 in your head too, but why would you?

  7. #27
I'm a lazy retadin (it's my OS) so I just made a castsequence macro pinning Inquisition to Templar's Verdict.

It refreshes itself with 4-8 seconds left on cast that way, not optimal by a longshot but a lot less fiddly than addons or having to watch my buffs.

    Hooray for lazy rotations!

It's not harder or hard when you play your paladin for a very long time tbh. I too don't need an addon to track it I just simpley look at it with my own eyes it might be difficult for some people but when you play your paladin for a very long time it will be natural to you without the need of using such addons.

The advantage of an addon is that you can choose where to look. With the default UI, the Inq buff seems to move around a lot, and it can take an extra few moments to find among the other buffs on the def UI. With an addon, you just have to look at one static spot.

Sure, it's easy, everything in this game is fairly easy in a vacuum, but it's not efficient.

I use Classtimers. Just a simple bar, don't need anything else.

Using CLCret addon's properties tuned precisely to my liking. I need no help with rotation, so I use it to display my most essential cooldowns and buff durations so that I can see them with a single glance, but without them obscuring my view too much.

It has lots of other icons as well, such as Holy Avenger, Avenging Wrath, Guardian, Judgment, CS, Holy Prism etc... but couldn't find a screenshot with all of them up. That Holy Power bar fades out of sight after a couple of seconds without any HP.

I use needtoknow. Very simple to set up and puts a bar where you want it.

I use it for Inq, GoAK, Wings, Holy Avenger, Sacred Shield, Darkmoon card, pot, passive trinket proc and censure.

I also have it set up for a focus target so I can track Censure on that as well for double censure damage!!

Well for me it's the best way and very efficient. I'm the kinda guy who doesn't need addons for my ret pala I just play mostly with addons like recount, npc scan, omen, and dbm that's it. It's just the class to me (to some players as well) became very natural for us because of the amount of time we spend playing it.

Check mark is an attention grabber for when both trinkets + dancing steel proc. I use needtoknow to track procs, icds and inq.

Situational awareness? aka not picking out a little timer buff in the corner of your screen when you could put a timer in the middle of your screen
    Look! Words!
