"Journalists being journalists" is a really iffy excuse. Also, I have no idea which report is true.
I see nothing about the running guy in that article.
The actor theory seemed iffy to me at first, so I mostly ignored that too.

There's still no explanation of the lack of footage of anyone evacuating or running around. There were other things that seemed odd to me, too, but I don't actually remember every detail.

Also there's some guy in the comments claiming to be a local bus driver who was saying some really weird and contradictory things. I'm not using this as proof, I'm just mentioning it.

They didn't run, that's why there's no footage of it. The school went into lockdown, and they were evacuated by police once Lanza offed himself.

As a point of fact, the first news reports actually said the AR-15 was in the trunk, it was later reporters being twits trying to say that was his shotgun, and amp up the fear to sell a better story. Both the shotgun and AR-15 never left his car.
