I began playing WoW sporadically over a couple of years...

... ended up quitting/taking a hiatus. Now, I have a fiancee who I got pregnant, and the baby is due within the next month. I am happy with my life, but it also means I cannot afford the time or money I wish I had to come back to playing WoW. I know I won't have any free time to play the game, but damn I really miss it and would like to return some day. This ever happen to anyone? What the hell?

WOW was designed in the early 2000s to be the first MMO you could hop on, find a golden exclamation mark somewhere a few minutes away from you, do what they asked, and come back to find a brilliant golden question mark to greet you in less than 30 minutes with wondrous triumphant music and experience points and a weapon or piece of armor as a reward. This was touted to be game changing, and a revolutionary advancement for casual gamers.

I guess the question is how little is enough to keep you happy with the game? There are many things you can do in 30 minutes alone, but is it worth 15 dollars a month?
You may not even feel like playing once the infant's presence triggers a million year honed endorphin cocktail in your brain sack.

Strike 1. You have a fiancee.

Strike 2. You knocker her up.

There is no magical fix to your problem. You need to listen to Tom Leykis. You're setting yourself up for misery in the future and I think you're just beginning see the very tip of that iceberg. I'm not sure what sort of validation you're looking for here.

I can only hope it doesn't (who am I kidding, I know it won't).

    Good luck though.
