Upgrading from GeForce GTS 250 512MB, help?

As the title states, I am looking to upgrade from XFX GeForce GTS 250 512MB. My budget is around $200, and I'm in the US. I am currently upgrading a pieced together machine, so the card will be going into a PCI 2.0x16 slot. I will mainly use the computer for Crysis 3 when it comes out, and BF3 as well. Any suggestions are appreciated!

PSU is Corsair 650W. Currently it has the old q8200 in it, and 8gb of ram.

Unfortunately that processor is going to struggle greatly in newer games negating much of any gpu upgrade. I'd hold off until you can afford both.

He will still see an improvement nontheless. I think there was a tread a while ago where someone posted some vids/benchmarks with older CPU's and a 660ti/670 i think.
The CPU might hold the gpu back, a new gpu will still be an upgrade over his 260.

As for the OP i would look at a 7850/7870/660

I agree with this. By the time you upgrade the CPU, the GPU is old again.

i would look in to getting a gtx 660 and at some point seriously look in to upgrading the cpu to something along the lines of an i3 3220 or a i5 3570 you would also need a new motherboard the psu is fine that does not need changing

I think thats my best choice. I know that the Q8200 will bottleneck my preformance right now, but I will upgrade to the i5 in a few months. I was just attempting to get the most out of my current comp before I talked the misses into a new Processor/mobo :P
