Having never cooked fish or having any interest in cooking fish, I can only guess. My guess is you leave the skin on if you are going to be serving it that way or if you are grilling or baking it, otherwise off.

Cook with skin left on. If cooking in a frying pan place the skin downwards, and equally if doing in the oven, wrap in foil and place in the oven skin side down.

Yes I do. There is a ridiculous amount of Flavor in that skin. Not to mention it usually helps keep the fish together and keeps it from drying out.

This is a terrible poll, so many types of fish, so many fish where they are fine with skin and so many fish that need the skin removed.

Not a huge fish guy anymore but If there is skin I leave it on. Skin always adds more flavor

Cook with the skin and then remove when eating. It helps keep the fish juicy. Same thing with chicken except I always eat the skin.

I never eat the skin, but when cooking I just keep it like it was when wrapped. Self-caught fish, depends on the size and how I plan to eat it.
Wait, some people eat the skin? Is it like potatoes with skin, in that it adds more oomph to the flavour or something? o.OIf you add me on Steam, Skype or whatever program/client I share my info for, please write something to identify you in the "Dude/gal wants to join your club"-message. Just so I know that an actual human is on the other end :P
