Richard the III has been found !

So the DNA test have confirmed they have found the body of one of historys most infamous monarchs

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england...shire-21063882

Though what i dont get is why did they bury such a famous king underneath a car park

Though on a serious note surely Richard the III is one of historys most slandered and misunderstood monarchs who was treated badly by tudor propaganda

Are you sure? I'm pretty sure they had car parks back in 1485 semaphore...
Why am I back here, I don't even play these games anymore

The problem with the internet is parallel to its greatest achievement: it has given the little man an outlet where he can be heard. Most of the time however, the little man is a little man because he is not worth hearing.

    !!

Clearly cars were symbols of power, so the victors buried defeated kings under car parks! The symbolism all makes sense now!

Richard (aka Richard III) was a great king (do not listen to the Tudor propaganda). It is good that he has been discoverd, now he can be interred with honour.

3 was the hunchbacked villain (apparently). Richard the first was the Lionheart.

Richard III was the "hunchback". He was killed at Bosworth Fields in August 1485, ending the Wars of the Roses between the Houses of Lancaster and York and beginning the reign of the Tudors

Yep we're nutty all right, but not as nutty as those who live down south.

War of the roses, such a bloody historical time in Englands history.

Still yet I wonder; What is the significance of him being buried under a car park? Was it intentional? Was he put there by his enemies? Did they tell him he'd sleep under the the dripping oil of a Renault? WHO COULD HAVE LET THIS HAPPEN??

A bloody historical time AND a historical bloody time

Probably not as bad as the Civil War though.

Did they tell him he'd sleep under the the dripping oil of a Renault?
A French car pissing on the grave of an English king? There's definitely some symbolism there (especially as the Tudors were living in France before the invasion that led to the battle at Bosworth)

Anyone else think of the scene from The League of Gentlemen? 'Richard I, I, I'.
