How to stop showing what I like on Facebook wall feed

Anytime I like a status or photo or even a page. It shows up on other peoples wall feeds. How do I get it to stop that or is it not possible?

Example. I like will a status of someone and it will show up on a persons wall that they themselves are not friends with.
