Well that was a pretty solid episode. I normally don't like episodes in where the main characters confuse one character for another though, but this one wasn't too bad.

Eh, anyone else think the episodes a bit... uneeded? I mean, all it was about was the ponies pandering for some random character that will probably only appear in one episode later (that's if they have an episode for the games). Not to mention how the idea of consequence is completely nonexistent here. I get the idea that they want it to be happy endings, but still.
Also, it seems strange that they are seemingly leading up to a future episdoe for the games, kind of how they did with the Grand Galloping Gala, but since the next episode is aparently the end of the season, we won't see the follow up untill four.I AM the world's first Shadow Mage.
