Anything and everything that can be considered a meme or a "fandom."
These types of things are made for people without their own sense of humor or creativity. They are canned jokes, sayings, and responses for people who can't think for themselves. Everyone of them is overused and overdone.
People who subscribe to "fandoms" annoy me because they define their lives and actions based on the shows or films they watch. I may enjoy Dr. Who, or Star Wars, etc., but what is the point of making it known every 30 seconds? Enjoy what you enjoy and casually chat about it if that floats your boat, but don't spend ever waking moment immersed in it. Figure yourself out, get a job, make some friends, do something else.
I also agree with some of the above. "Girl Gamers," cosplay, fake words made up by people, like swag and yolo, anything that has to do with My Little Pony (You are a grown adult, seek help). People who think they are better than others for self fabricated reasons.

only trolls annoy me really. And I am not talking about WoW trolls either
I love Warcraft, I dislike WoW
Unsubbed since January 2021, now a Warcraft fan from a distance
As an Otaku and a trekkie I will disagree with the idea that these things are internet fads, I was an Otaku and Trekkie long before the Internet was a thing.
I was a trekkie as a small kid in the 70s, I even had a Fan Made Star Fleet Hand Book. I also fell in love with Japanese Anime fairly early on, I was a fan of Science Ninja Team Gatchaman, Speed Racer, Kimba the White Lion, and The White Whale of Mu. During the 80's I was addicted to Robotech and the Star Trek Movies.
So Fandom is actually unrelated to the Internet.
-The excessive hate on furries.
-The excessive lengths fans of MLP take their obsession with that show. It's fine to like that show (I don't see the draw of it as it is a horribly created show, stemming from my probably irrational hatred toward flash animation on anything outside of the internet)
-"Like this picture if you love your mom, ignore if you want her to die" and other such stupidity.
-"My dad said if I get 100,000 likes he will stop smoking". Just goes to show you that your father doesn't give a shit about your opinion on his smoking and will most likely not quit even if you get 100,000 likes. And similar stuff
-Internet badasses who are little pussies in real life that would run away screaming if you even faked a punch toward them
-4chan and similar sites filled with the lowest common denominator in human intelligence
-The complete lack of spelling and grammar. Mostly relating to the their/there/they're, your/you're, should of and such. I want so much to reply to someone who says something like "This could of been a good game if they would of added ____________" and say "It's could HAVE and would HAVE, not of", but then I would be considered a grammar nazi and get banned for trying to improve someone's language skills to make them appear less stupid. Also includes people using ' to denote a plural (such as That's a lot of face's).
-People being complete douches just because there are no physical consequences like there would be when they would do such a thing to someone in person.
-People with names like XxnamexherexX.
There are more, but I can't think of much, or they have already been said.
A lot of things annoy me, but two major things are:
- Chest thumping people who take every oppertunity to proclaim the greatness of their nation and cannot handle any counter arguement and push it aside as ignorant nation bashing.
And:
- Chest thumping people who take every oppertunity to talk shit about a specific nation and cannot handle any counter arguement and push it aside as ignorant blind patriotism/nationalism.
Though I suppose it's not quite a fad as much as it is a behaviour.

Can't say there are a lot of things that annoy me greatly, although one exception may be the climate denial people, who keep posting "evidence" of the "great global warming hoax", evidence which was disproven years yearlier, and then go "NANANANANA!!!" when you point out how flawed their argument is.
I hope it is a fad. I really do.
Couples(mostly teenage ones) feeling the need to tell each other on Facebook they love each other, every hour.
People don't forgive, they forget. - Rust Cohle
I feel that about most people who use any form of lables - particularly faddish buzz-word ones like "Sheeple", "1 percent", "Socialist(ism)", "Liberal Media", ect...
They're all an attempt by people to insult something while attempting to understand something in a way that fits their view without having to actually understand what it really is.
I've had a formulae that's been holding true for a while now... you can judge a person based on how many uses of labels they belt out. If it's more than 3 in any given paragraph/post - you should disregard them completely and move on. That's not sound reasoning, that's just fear and hate speaking.
