Why did Nadagast got his own item in WoW? Anyone know?

I know he's a good PvPer and all and been around for a long time. But what did he do that Blizz thought let's give him his own item in WoW?

But i think the name is spelled the way the hippy wizard in LoTR; The Hobbit is spelled so who knows..not sure if nada got his name from that or not..but he reads these forums sometimes i guess so he weigh in.

pretty cool if its a reference to him tho.

also i think it should be noted; Nada had some ideas that bliz implemented in 5.2, i dunno if that's a coincidence or not.

He's not just an amazing player, he's also a really great guy who puts the personality of most high level players to shame. If you ever watch pvp streams and hear people use the most ridiculous expressions ever, they probably got it from nada.
