Anyone heard when approximately the Crucial m500 SSDs should be launching? I'm intrigued to see how they perform...

Fuck you, Seagate, what a boat load of LIES.

. A 256GB SSD, for example, can cost around £500 or even more while a 750GB hard disk can cost just £90.

Seagate has unveiled its latest internal laptop hard disk, the Momentus XT, which the company claims is as fast as a solid state disk (SSD).
Oh yeah. Surely this must be true.

I already generally dislike Seagate, mostly because of my 1TB Barracuda which is indeed faulty... should really get it RMA'd... have had it almost 2 years. >_< Fact of the matter is... that whole article makes me just want to outright boycott them for blatant bullshit advertising and marketing. No HDD is as fast as any SSD. Quit BSing Seagate, you know better, I would think.

Ya but did you see the date that was posted. 2010, SSD's where that much back and that slow back then.

The dog wasn't mine when he was born, the owner disappeared a few months ago and I decided to take care of him. He's estimated to be ~2-4 years

Yeah, so was I. The neighbours didn't know what happened to him, neither did the animal care, he had been running wild for some time before getting caught.
