Sorry, but where is Miami, and L.A.? I agree with Detroit and Chicago being in the top five; at least they got that right.

    They're all in the US.

Perhaps you should amend the thread title to reflect actual article.

I believe his point was that anyone not living in the US would be a bit out of the loop. We're not, in fact, the only country in the world, much though we seem to deny that sometimes.

I'm glad all those social programs in Detroit are working so well.

'Detroit is in the midst of a transformation'

    Bullshit.

I'm from Michigan and Detroit has been and will remain a hellhole for a long time. There are nice suburbs of Detroit but the money is gone.

That was sort of my point, though it was more to suggest that this isn't a US site, despite what some people would have you believe.

Nothing. Not every city is of the same party.

It is an article about America's ten most miserable cities. Why the need to nitpick? Not everything has to be labeled as American or Not American. Even more so when its clear it is just talking about American cities by the list and even clearer when you actually read the article on Forbes.

You know a community is bad when moderators lock a thread because "...this isnt the place to talk about it either seeing as it will get trolled..."

Well the list says "America's Most Miserable Cities" so yeah that would be why they are all in the US.
