East Stirlingshire at Ibrox today, although nothing like a bit of "fuck you" to the SPL with the cover of the matchday program showing all the league title flags with a graphic "54 & still going strong" - there always was 54 titles, regardless as to the midweek result I will always regard it that way. Celtic unhappy at it, Lennon's absolutely fizzing, but they have decreed that they will "operate within bounds of the laws of the game and of the land" - I guess that forgives various transgressions from their past.

I've got to be honest, I'm uneasy about today's match. I'm expecting Villa to get absolutely stuffed by City, and any dropped points could unbalance momentum.

Norwich are a pain in the arse team this season, they've got a pretty solid defence, I hope to be proven wrong.

If i were buying someone for Man U, i'd get Kuba instead of Lewandowski. That guy is a monster on the right wing.
    It's coming in 1.2!!!

Wasn't a foul, but he had scuffed it over the bar already.

Kagawa reminding everyone why we bought him, good to see him back and in form after his long injury.

LoL Arsenal using the worst offside trap ever seen failing not once but twice in 2 mins.

  12. #2572

    Yea it was really bad.

Even if you want to put them offside you still need to look at the players and not the ball... The defenders are on the other side of the pitch.

playing a high line versus speed, seems smart to me

Remember when Arsenal had the best back four in England, and arguably in Europe?

    What the hell happened...

Indeed. Arsenal look the better side except for that defensive line.

decent game, not many chances, spurs looked like they were the away team but they got the win

spurs, arsenal, and chelsea all look about the same level, both Manchester teams look a class above for sure

I'm reserving judgement on City till after the next couple of results. Their biggest hope right now is United will slip up soon so they can catch.

As for Spurs, they could finish anywhere between 2nd and 5th. The former being exceptional, the latter being an underachievement this season, Arsenal are poor this year and Chelsea are a mess.

Looking at it, I'm also surprised Everton aren't doing better than they are.
