...I can't be the only one that is completely disappointed with the plot of the movie.

Well, maybe the ending isn't as spectacular as we had hoped, but it does open a lot of opportunities. More movies or a new series is definitely possible after this.

It may not even have to do that. There's plenty of time between Buu and GT where they could add more stuff. You'd lose out on SSJ4, but with the new one, it could already be overwritten. That, and you could justify it by calling GT a different universe.

SSGis weird, it acts more as a power up than an actual transformation and by that I mean it would appear that in the movie Goku is able to tap into the power while in super saiyan form whose to say that the super saiyan 4 couldn't tap into that power as well

I think the main disappointment I have with it is with the Bills part asking Goku to give up. Really? When has Goku ever given up when facing an opponent that can wipe out worlds and Earth is threatened? That annoys me.
