I believe it may be because this one tends to stay more active, and doesn't usually fall off of the front page. People usually had a hard time finding the pets one, and other threads for it were created fairly often due to that.

Exactly... a "pretty boy" to me is just someone who is either perfectly put together, maybe feminine looking, maybe not... to me most high fashion male models are pretty boys..doesn't mean they are any less masculine than say the Rock..but again, to me he is a pretty boy- in another way.
