Let's see. The last time I posted here was...2012-07-14. I would hardly call that trolling. Besides, April 1st used to be the best time because Blizzard always came up with cool stuff, but now they don't do shit which sucks.

Personally, I think Blizz is actually regaining their edge with what is shaping up to be the best Expac both raid and story wise in years.

They have a big starcraft one... About the warhound unit... everyones SCV's are now Warhounds and it's a bit confusing but quite funny. A lot of written stuff about them too. Makes sense to me seeing as HOTS was just released. Just because it's not in your game doesn't mean it's not there. Blizzard still did something.

If anything, this years one is bigger because it affects something IN GAME. Last year they had a written thing for WoW and a written one for SC I believe. Now they have an actual ingame change for SC but nothing for WoW. Hardly "not doing anything".

Hmmm.... just released one of the biggest expansions that they put tons of work into, and still are, releasing patches frequently and a patch between each tier with new story evolution and stuff to do, who cares about all of that, they didn't do an April Fools joke, they must not care anymore.

I kind of agree with OP. I don't play the game anymore but I can't lie and say that I wasn't excited to see what they came up with for 4/1 today... As far as losing their edge though?.. No.

For people who missunderstood this.
It's the fact that,Blizzard usually do this things to show support for their games, IE sc2 and their april fools
The fact that both diablo 3 and WoW didn't get any, is a tall tell sign, ( I hope I'm wrong), that more likely they just don't care anymore, unlike they used to.

Be reminded that certain things like this is for fun. It helps boost the moral of the game. the WoW department in the past few years were getting infamous with their april fools, and then suddenly they didn't do one this year.

It's not about the joke, it's the fact that, a lot of people feel like they stopped supporting WoW.
I mean if sc2 got their support then what happened to WoW, which made blizzard the way it is now?
