Question Noob friendly PVE raiding/dungeon class?

Hey I am pretty new to pve and want to get into it as most my friends are now playing pve. They are playing warrior tank, monk healer and death knight dps. I want to play a noob friendly ranged dps class (not hunter because I played that mostly in my pvp). I was thinking maybe mage or warlock both look pretty fun actually and was just wondering which is easier to play for good dps? Or if both are not really wanted in raids and stuff.

    Any suggestions?

Mage, Warlock or Rogue - all easy to play and top 3 DPS in the game at the moment.

Both Warlocks and Mages are high on the DPS charts in most raids these days. I personally think locks are harder to come by, but picking a class is all personal preference. I've played a lock through the good times in BC up until now and still love it.

Elemental shaman is a pretty easy class to play, frost mage isnt that hard either.

Mage is easier than warlock, so go with that.

"Help me choose my class" threads aren't allowed here. In the end, only you can decide what class you'll play.
