My point exactly. Now if there was a dozen of them saying the same shit, or every person suggesting a no vote was met with "why do you hate Boston?!" I'd agree with the subject...until then, it's inaccurate as fuck.

My indifference to the bill is irrelevant...you said the house used boston to pass the bill...which you cannot prove beyond McCaul's statements after the fact which are more than likely just pandering to the media and the unwashed masses.



It won't affect me, because I frankly don't care. If one less pederast gets arrested for emailing pictures of naked 8 year old kids...even if it takes 10 years...job well done imo.

Shit like this happens all the time in legal systems around the world at the moment and will only get worse.

The potential for abuse is just too large for the arguement that a couple pedophiles get caught. They are catching them already with the tools available. The argument that if you're doing nothing wrong you have nothing to worry about is sooooooo false.

We (as in humanity) haven't been "free" for centuries. We have all been a slave to the "dollar bill" since its inception. Money does not buy freedom, it is slavery. Those that love money do not understand its true nature. It is yet another hindrance to our growth as a species.

If I remember correctly, this bill was vague enough that some of those (DRM supporters) for it says it needs to be revised before it being passed (yeah I'm sorry I forgot the organization's name =\)

It's so vague and one sided that it does nothing but hurt the majority of people. There is no 'national security' uses for this, as you'd have some fun going through databases of trolling and good ol spam funnies. Misinterpretation is high and especially insider jokes get lost.

It is a terrible argument. not doing anything wrong doesn't mean people won't use that information in a way that can indirectly harm the individual. There is no way that the removal of privacy that CISPA will cause won't be misused. There is just too much douchebaggery going on involving higher-ups.

I don't care if I'm not doing anything wrong or not, my privacy is my privacy and the government doesn't have any right to stick it's nose into it.
