Hamilton and Webber have penalties, bumping Massa up to P4, alongside Alonso.
On hards.
That's quite something, especially considering how underwhelming he was in FP2, FP3, Q1 and Q2.
Did anyone expect Mercedes getting pole twice in a row? because I know I didn't at the start of the season.
Name's Michael. You might've heard of him before. Fastest in Monaco last year and all.
Haven't watched the race yet, have it recorded and will update the thread OP later.
Was a great race but disapointing that there was no race for the win, another dominant Vettel win, I'd love to see someone else get it this year, specifically Alonso or Raikkonen. Disapointed with the Mercedes, so fast in Qualifying again and then nothing in the race.
Probably running on a Pentium 4
Pirelli have resisted Red Bull's lobbying and have stayed their ground on keeping the tyre compounds "as is". The hard tyre will be a little more resilient and have a lower optimal temperature, soft and super-soft are staying the same.

It will make them easier to get to working temperature at the cooler European races.
Took them long enough. How many points has that specific part lost them?
In other news, Pirelli is supplying an extra set of tyres for the free practice sessions in the hope that teams will take the cars out even when the track isn't optimal (like the entire Thursday session and most of Friday, or the 6 hours after a rain shower). It will be a prototype "hard" tyre.

In a shock move, technical director James Allison has left Lotus.
This might put a considerable damper on Raikkonen's championship hopes.

"The firm notes this is the case ‘for some time now’". Seems they did it awhile ago, unless I'm reading that incorrectly

Mercedes front row lets hope they have found their race pace while on break.
Yea you're probably right Brawn hinted they still didn't have the pace.
