As the title says, if WoW ever went F2P, how much Subs do you think it will have.
Will it grow in your eyes, or will it even decline more?

wow was supposed to have 300-400k players tops, so you can use that as a benchmark
It would raise very high initially in reaction to the news and then it would decline faster than ever as it descends in to a clunky cash shop disaster like every single F2P MMO that exists.
zero, because people would no longer be subscribed
Assuming they used the same payment system as SWTOR and Rift I would guess about 3-4 million, maybe more (but a lot would depend on how they classify Chinese subs), subs and a further 10 million or so players, how much they would spend per month is anyone's guess.
I can't imagine WoW with in-game shop. It's disgusting for such legend game. I hope WoW never go to f2p model.
People would stop seeing it's value and stop playing....probably wouldn't be updated and patched as frequently and that would cause it's decline more. F2p would be the death of wow.
I quit playing SWtor about a month or so after I got to max level. Didn't enjoy it (couldn't find groups and I was a healer playing with a tank friend O.o) ...tried it once or twice when it went F2P, haven't been back since.
Well, seeing as how the populations would have to drop to under 1 million subscribers before ever going free to play, it would clearly decline.
Depends on the model really.
it would go down to 0 subs.
It would grow fast, but the game would provide less money to Blizzard, and they would reduce the development quality A LOT.
F2P would kill wow imo, would make any decent players quit due to poor service and mass amounts of botting. i would rather pay then go f2p, you think the social aspect is bad now open it as f2p and find a nice hole to hide in
Well it would have 0 subscribers if it were F2P obviously....but I think the number of people playing it would go up 2-4 million for about 2-4 months and then it would decline again at a much higher rate than currently.
Assuming quality stays the same: Amount of players increase significantly, but the average "quality" of the players goes down.
