So after spending a good half an hour on a build-your-own computer website, I've come up with this setup:
CPU: AMD FX-4100 3.60 GHz Quad-Core AM3+ CPU 4MB L2 Cache & Turbo Core Technology [-54]
HDD: 1TB SATA-III 6.0Gb/s 32MB Cache 7200RPM HDD (Single Drive)
MEMORY: 8GB (4GBx2) DDR3/1600MHz Dual Channel Memory (Corsair or Major Brand)
MOTHERBOARD: [CrossFireX] MSI 970A-G43 AMD 970 Socket AM3+ ATX Mainboard w/ UEFI Bios, OC Genie II, Winki 3, 7.1 HD Audio, GbLAN, 2 Gen2 PCIe X16, 2 PCIe X1 & 2 PCI [-11]
SOUND: HIGH DEFINITION ON-BOARD 7.1 AUDIO
VIDEO: NVIDIA GeForce GT 630 4GB 16X PCIe Video Card [-31] (Major Brand Powered by NVIDIA)
I have no clue if this is a good or bad set up, probably bad. Can anyone suggest anything better price-performance wise? This current setup is said to be $702 all together with no screen or mouse. (Don't need to worry about a mouse, i do however for the screen.)
Is there anything wrong within this? Would things be incompatible when working with other components?
I'm alright with this price, however I would rather not go higher. Lowering the price would be greatly appreciated.
EDIT: Yes, I would love to have EVERYTHING for $700 or less.
Thanks! -Gama
