They are the #1 musical group in Japan. All their songs end up #1 in charts. Plus they put huge tv screens everywhere so the ppl in back can see them.

i wish they would do the Holographic thing SNSD did. We could listen to Perfume everywhere around the world!

Basing this off of Wikipedia: It seems like AKB48 only has 4 studio albums, the 32 other albums are theatre albums, which I guess are live recordings from their some of their daily concerts in Akihabara. But since they have a ridiculous amount of singles I'm thinking not all of them are on albums. Either that or all album songs are singles

I shall personally start with listening to Set List: Greatest Songs 2006-2007, Masterpieces, We Were Here & 1830m!

Yeah, I read about that too ^^ That's why I thought the theatre albums (and the reason there are so many) are from their daily concerts at their own theatre. Having a theatre and then calling something a theatre album miiiiiiight be a clue too!

The only singles not on any album are their 6 latest + a digital charity single. So those albums sure are full of singles o.O (Like 5-10 singles on each album)
