Rogue T16 icons: Something.... Different.

So I collected all the icons for the Rogue T16 datamined on WoWhead.

Two words: Dwemer Assassin.


Anyone else getting that vibe?

Boots:


Loooks like a bit of that titan steampunky vibe that Mage T16 has. Actually very excited for this set-- it could be really good (but it will probably be bad) and it's nice to get away from dark leather for once.

I'd be so happy if we get a steampunk set. The mage set looks really cool (though I prefer their DS set in the same theme and their CM set over everything else).

I just hope the heroic set is a black/red palette, not teal and orange like the icons. I might actually wear it.

So throwing them all together quickly (and very badly) in Photoshop we have something that looks like...

The second look makes more sense. I can see the helm being a visor too...

I'm not sure. Theres a bit that sticks out at the top and bottom that could either go up between the eyes or down from the top. If its a visor he'd have a weird spikey bit over his mouth.

Fairly sure the helm is meant to be a visor (over the eyes).

All in all not a bad approximation imo.

Edit: Yeah, the middle spike over the nose, side spikes over the cheekbones?

Looks like some steampunk roman gladiator style. Shares a style with the mage set.

Seems likely the headpiece is one of the collar/bandana-style ones. Not a big fan myself. I like the belt though.

Gonna wait until I see the official model put together before I make my final judgement, but as of right now it reminds me a lot of the Sunwell leather set, which I didn't like at all.

I love steam punk art! The red and black looks more appropriate for our class. Some engineering goggles would fit so well with the theme.
