"Healing" instances when leveling 85-90.

Just gotta rant about this. It's ridiculous.

As Disc, I've yet to actually heal in a dungeon. I can just spam Smite / Holy Fire / Penance / DoTs on the mobs/bosses, and the smart heal DPS provides is enough to keep everyone up - at the same time I'm actually doing competitive DPS, sometimes even topping.

What. Please tell me I can do this at 90 as well in heroics / HC Scenarios. It's just silly. I love it.

You can heal everything up through most heroic raid bosses with essentially nothing but atonement

Atonement is still a little silly (imho) but a cool mechanic, also remember when levelling the game is balanced at 90.

Depends on the group, and gear.

Heirlooms trivialize a lot.
Auction house gear trivializes a lot.

I'd be surprised if you can smite heal though the tank damage and AOE damage on the first pack of mobs in The Stonecore.

What about when someone lets the scouts loose to pull more mobs?

Healing is easy when people do what they are supposed to do and are geared.
