Nobody minded that all the T10 sets were similar thematically (based on Scourge units).

There's more similar themes here-- All the T16 gear is based on Titans.

Also: Death Knights will never have another good set, because Death Knights entail a very specific bit of lore. "Rogue" or "Warrior" is a very generic archetype that is found in every culture on every planet, but it's consistently more and more difficult to find relevant lore for Death Knights just because of what they are, and thus difficult to make a good set. Death Knights will always be simply wearing the bones of their enemies for the rest of forever because there's no more Scourge to make kickass Scourge Battleplate from.

Monks will start having this problem in 6.0. Calling it now.

This is actually because people used to bitch their gear didn't match and they looked silly. Which was true.. now if you mis match, it's hard to tell. This is why

I agree. As a warlock I am lucky that most of my set come out looking cool and that demons are found in every culture. Hunters end up with skins of bad guys, dk's bones. and yes monks are going to be hard to do. because in most cultures monks = priests

some of the new sets look really awesome (espescially that paladin red/blue scheme pve tier).

sadly some of them look horrible (why us hunters WHY!!!!) and i got too agree that several sets have features too it that have been done before.
but that doesnt make them bad (just look how sweet the shaman set looks, even though it has a familiar ring too it)

overall hits and misses for me, just a shame the hunter tier is a miss for me

The only thing i cant handle is the abundance of fingerless gloves, the one thing in the game i will always despise, mainly cause gnome fingers look terrible

shoulders getting bigger is normal. but the belt is there try on 3d armor. hell I hope blizz one day accepts 3d chest armor more. you know leather coats and maybe plate armor that looks bulky instead of flat.

Stop whining, they all look great. Bet you can't design better gear.

I think they got alot of interesting ideas in these sets but I think they should have spent more time fleshing them out.

Rogue tier set looks badass on a worgen not counting the helm but then again its 1000 times better than all the other helms that look like pokeballs.
Paladin tier set looks ok but im so used to their sets looking like shit it may just be because I have lowered my expectations. Really like the colors on the blue set.
Druid tier set would look kinda cool if they extended the face into something beak like. Also needs the colors changed up.
Warrior tier set has some cool stuff on it but all together I think its a jumbled mess.
DK tier set has some potential but is just really bland, I hope they make another set sometime with an 1 "eye" helmet.
Warlock tier set looks badass as usual.
Mage tier set reminds me too much of that ugly time lord set.

The pvp sets for all classes look better for pretty much every class shown so far and the only ones I hate are the Rogue and Paladin pvp sets.

I'm sure it's been said in other threads, but Tier 16 Mage looks almost identical to Tier 13 Mage. Especially the Blue/Gold variation.

    I don't play one, but I think that it's a little disappointing.

They are bland like fuck, and all of them look alike IMO.

I bet you're not an English teacher, so you can't use the English language properly.

This is actually one of my only complaints about them. Color wise, a few of them are just fucking awful.

DK one just..eh. There's a lot of potential there and I know the tier is currently buggy via the model viewers but still.

The Warlock, Druid, and Warrior tiers I thought did the colors correct.

The sets in 5.4 look really great to me. Rogue tier and Priest PvP especially!

I play priest and I hate priest Tier 16 set. So, I agree with OP here. (Though priest S14 set looks quite nice, but mostly because of the angelic shoulders. )

I have not been a fan of this expansions gear sets really, doesn't fit what I want my character to look like. Transmog exists to personalize your character with gear which better fits your own unique style.

Some of this gear might be exactly what they would like for their gear look. It could be the whole thing or the shoulders etc. For me, transmog was the best thing ever added in Cataclysm.

I understand you, and it's not just the color.

As I said, the best word I can find to describe these sets is ''bland''. That's all.
