So Basically i'm going to be off work for a few weeks and i need something to farm, and by farm i made some that will take a lot of time. (I'm a blood DK)
Things i could think of off the top of my head are :
Skyshards
Zandalari Scouts / Warbingers
The Raptor bone things
Grinding Ore for a crap load of gold (less preferable)
Is there anything else that would take a long time to farm that i could work towards ?

Archaeology (Keeper of Knowledge), pet battling (collect all world pets, do all tamer dailies till you got the 75x lvl 25 and 75x lvl 10 achievement, ...) and "The Insane" were already mentioned. Originally Posted by d0oms

One thing not yet mentioned is grinding vortex pinnacle and stonecore for their drop mounts (drop on normal, so you may do 5 runs per hour which amounts to ~10-20 minutes per hour).

Do Heroic drop mounts(Raven Lord, White Hawkstrider, Blue Proto-Drake)every day to help break up the monotony of grindy things, like Seeker of Knowledge and similar pastimes. If you haven't done Glorious! yet, consider that as well. Run some old raids too, for mounts and pets and reps.

2 weeks was around what took me to get the bone-white primal raptor, but I wasn't very diligent. You might be able to get it in less and if you're lucky you can get 3 other mounts and 5 pets while at it. Originally Posted by d0oms
