Hey man, a little bird dropped by and told me to give you this.
Also, I'm going to hopefully get this today after class:

I think this has been mentioned to him 5+ times... he still thinks he can just keep pushing so long as the heat doesn't reach 100 C or whatever.
Just let him kill the 780s.
HEY SHROUD.
THEY ARE VOLTAGE LOCKED AT 1.212V FOR A REASON! =/
Are all Nvidia cards voltage locked nowadays? Or are there exceptions? What about the lightning cards, still unlocked?
all are locked with the exception of classifieds and likely lightnings. (officially, atleast from what i've understood from kingpin is that the evga classified tool goes up to 1,35V without having to use a EVbot)
however every stock card can get a custom bios to allow 1.212V, they likely won't work with say a classified/lightning bios due to insufficient power delivery system.

Except that.
SPELL IT RIGHT.
It's a pronoun. ;D
also perhaps a bit of a wierd question but are there any fan control units that are supposed to be flipped 90 degrees? (using a standard one would look like silly for my case)
None that I know of.
But it shouldn't matter too much if you get one with dials, dials are always good because it gives you that intimate feeling of turning the knob and hearing your fans speed increase along with the cooling performance giving an almost sexual-like joy because of that FEEEEEELIN--ok I'll shut up now.
