It will obviously be available at release, but only preorderers will get it for free. It will probably cost around 10$, like any other TW DLCs.

    New battle video.

    Sir Robin, the Not-Quite-So-Brave-As-Sir-Lancelot.
Who had nearly fought the Dragon of Angnor.
Who had almost stood up to the vicious Chicken of Bristol.
And who had personally wet himself, at the Battle of Badon Hill.

I don't have a very clear memory of the Shogun 2 launch, but wasn't there a bit of a wait before you could buy the Hattori as dlc?

So yes. It will be possible to get the greek states culture pack even if you didn't preorder, and it will be available on day one.

My guess is that you can buy it from here http://store.steampowered.com/app/212301/

one question about that video, when he is deploying his army, how come he can see the opponent's army? shouldn't they be hidden until battle begins??

also, im not a fan of the unit cards.

If I remember correctly, defending armies can see the deployment of the attacking army and respond, except in the case of an ambush. I could be wrong about that.

I'm not particularly fond of the "classical vase art" style either for the unit card, but eh.

Rome 2 owners will get "privileged access" to ARENA.

    http://www.totalwar.com/en_us/arena/

If you buy Total War: ROME II, you will also receive privileged access to Total War: ARENA content; including advanced beta access, in-game Legion Armoury bonuses and approximately $15(USD) of in-game currency.*

I know I have preordered Shogun 2 and didn't get this DLC, so I'm pretty sure it simply wasn't included. Maybe it came some time after the release, which is not the case with Greek Cities, so I don't know why there should be any wait. But I can't be certain.

Isn't that the upcoming mobile game? Nothing I saw about that interested me then and I've heard nothing since to change my mind.

That video looks great. I was disappointed with shogun but it looks like they're taking the game in the right direction this time

Shogun 2 was a huge return to form after Empire and Napoleon.

One step forward after three steps back isn't that impressive.

Indeed, I was amazed myself, it really seemed like the AI is actually thinking. Obviously there was also the fact that the player made a few massive mistakes and was outnumbered to begin with, but yeah, AI behaved really well for a Total War game's AI.

The AI's behavior caught my attention, so I took a closer look at it.

Besides turning generals into buff bots? Not seeing a whole lot of difference between S2 and R2.
