For me so far my top 5 (in no particular order) are probably:

Golden Time
Kill la Kill
Yozakura Quartet: Hana no Uta
Outbreak Company
Log Horizon

With quite a few trailing close behind. Had more trouble selecting that 5th show then I normally do at the start of a season. Which is a good thing.

Too bad it doesn't hold a candle to Sekai de Ichiban. Sports anime could learn a thing or two from it.

All these lists made me see if I could narrow down my top 25 anime. I've never been able to do it before, but I finally managed this time. Everything except for #1 - 5 isn't in any order. Still not quite sure on this list and if I spent a bit more time I would probably replace a show here or there, but it's mostly accurate.

My top5 so far:

1) Outbreak Company
Simply perfect. Also, I'm shipping ShinichiXMyusel HARD.

2) Log Horizon
Feels like watching an MMO, which is really nice. Also, I love Naotsugu (I used to be a tank in WoW)

3) Non Non Biyori
Soothing and funny. Though the greatness of each episode is directly related to the amount of Ren-chon screentime.

4) Galileo Donna
Love the art style, but I'm not entirely sure where the story will go. I think this one might have been better a 2-cour anime though.

5) Nagi no Asukara
Expecting delicious tears and broken hearts.


Honorable Mention: KnK - can be great or not, right now I cannot really say it, have to see which direction it goes. But if kyoani fucks up, I'll have to quote Mirai: Fuyukai desu.

So I just watched this week's Little Busters and is this really the end of Kurugaya? This whole thing frustrated me and so I looked up the story but there was thing I didn't really find out. Warning, small spoiler about the end. So, back in the real world, is Kurugaya there and part of Little Busters or not? If anyone that finished the VN could PM me the answer, that would be great.

My favorites so far goes something like:

#1 Kyousou Giga
#2 Log Horizon
#3 Kyoukai no Kanata
#4 Yuushibu
#5 Outbreak Company

There are plenty of other shows this season I really like, but this is my top 5 at the moment. Kyousou Giga is definitely my favorite. The only show I'm thinking of dropping at the moment is Samurai Flamenco, I will give it one more episode before I decide.

It started last season, so I don't count it in the current season. If I did though it would share my #1 spot with Kyousou Giga.

Strike the Blood, Galilei Donna, and White Album 2 are also good, but I need to see more before they can be in my top 5.

Magi (ep 2) - Hahaha Sinbad's powers. That battle scene was pretty amazing. Ending is adorable too.

Outbreak Company - Death-at-the-end-of-the-episode-#1.

I feel like this might turn into a school anime. Also, all these SnK references.

Galilei Donna - Death-at-the-end-of-the-episode-#2.

Log Horizon - This show is better than SAO in every way. Support character MC, uses intelligence to win battles, and the story already has a history to build on. That adorable housewife loli.

Yozakura - That loli is freaky as fuck, that scene was completely crazy with her. I'm also loving the non-linear story telling, reminds me a lot of Durarara.

Little Busters - This arc has been interesting. It felt way too slow, I feel like a bit more could have happened.

Strike the Blood - Death-at-the-end-of-the-episode-#3.

Golden Time - OKAY THEN.

Nagi no Asukara - That laugh. Called it the guy was a half the moment he started talking about how he loved the underwater city.
