4th spec ideas for expansion five(Warlords of Draenor)

4th spec ideas for expansion five(Warlords of Draenor)made this kinda sloppy

    Rogue:Merceneary(pistols, ranged,dps spec)
    Warlock:Necromancy(summons undead, etc,dps spec)
Mage:Timetreader(All time related abilties, possibly a tank spec)
Death Knight: Reaper(same spec icon but colored purple, healing spec)
Hunter: Lone wolf(no pet dps spec)
    Shaman: Magma(lava based dps spec)
Monk:Weaponmaster(monks that deeply use a varity of weapons that actually show rather then mainly fist attacks)
Druid:Corruption(from expansion 5 being atleast lightly legion based this will involve fel energies and modded druid forms)
    Paladin: Dark
Warrior:Commander(call in airstrikes, extra troops as abilities etc, possible tank spec or dps)
    Priest:Afterlife(ghost form dps spec)

I am aware some of those are kinda out there.

    Warlock: Anima-based spec
Mage:Chrono ( fully time based spec)
Paladin: Dark Knight would cause me to shiver in a good way of course
Priest: Sanguine Acolyte( blood spiritual magic)

I think they said its not gonna happen anytime soon, so challenging to do

They can't balance the game as is. This would hurt the credibility of WoW imo. The best course of action would be to add more races and make racials entirely cosmetic (no silences/stuns, HP increases, free PvP trinket, etc).

Ranged rogue would be stupid, warlocks being necromancers is stupid because they have nothing to do with eachother other than the fact that they both summon things... completely different things though, time mage... meh, No dks don't need healing abilities to make them even more OP as soloing current level content, I guess for hunter.. though would prob just be a talent, both shaman dps specs use lava... if anything frost would make more sense for a new spec, chi-ji idea for monks is better, druids already have 4... so a 5th? and no if they get corrupted its going to be from the dream, dark paladin? that's a DK..., terrible warrior idea, meh priest.

Have you played Elemental? It's a magma spec.

I would envision a Shaman fourth spec being more Earthen based and be a tank spec.

    Hi

I'll bite for fun, i'll try to come up with reasonable ones, probably won't be able to do every class, I guess reasonable is a relative term though. I'll try to throw in some mildly-crazy justification for some of them. :P Not going to allocate names to every spec either, i'll just give it's basic role...

Rogue - Ranged (Perhaps the addition of one-handed ranged weapons, duel cross-bows, and the addition of pistols.)

Shaman - Tank (Earth elemental based, perhaps an overhaul of the class too, healing mostly water/ spirit based, elemental mostly lightning/ lava, and enhancement is melee with some random element stuff, pretty much the way it is now. In vanilla it seemed to have some sort of tanking capabilities with certain talents and abilities in the enhancement tree.)

Paladin - Shockadin (Ranged caster, because it's been something people have been trying to make work up until the end of Wrath, would be cool to bring it back as a legit spec)

Hunter - Maybe a melee hunter? (Although they should add a talent option to go petless, and remove magic components from marks and have a pure physical spec, but yeah melee hunter, sorta used to be a thing in vanilla/ BC survival had it's share of melee moves.)

Death Knight - Necromancer (Ranged Caster, either dump one of the existing specs, or add a new one)

Warlock - Demon Hunter (Dump demonology, or add it as a new spec)

Mage - Battle Mage? (IDK, maybe a caster tank if possible, plate wearing mage would be introdasting.)

Warrior, Monk, and Priest, can sit this one out.

Heroic update for each class (can be combined with each spec)

Mage - Archmage(upgrade base spells+few cheat spells like instant teleportation)
Warlock - Necromancer (upgrade base spells+more survival abilities+death specialisation)
Druid -Archdruid (upgrade base spells+few cheat spells like permanent tree summoning)
Priest - Inquisitor (upgrade base spells+few cheat spells like another one silence spell and damage spells)
Shaman - Runemaster (upgrade base spells+more survival abilities+new rune spells(buffs+silence+sime more debaff stuff))

Hunter - Dark Ranger (upgrade base abilities+give dark and lifeleech attacks+give the ability to summon the skeletons(temporary) with hit+slowing the enemies with attacks)
Paladin - Templar (upgrade base spells+few cheat spells like silence spells and instant range damage spells)
Warrior - Blademaster (upgrade base abilities+give abilities to fight with one sword+improved critical chance and damage+give the chance to create the clone during the fight)
Rogue -Demon Hunter (upgrade base abilities+give fire shield+improve weapon damage with demon fire+give ranged demon form)
Death Knight - Lich (improved base spells and abilities+give more range spells+give more survival abilities+give selfresurrection)

I like the 4th spec idea but I think the 4th spec should be a heal/tank spec for the classes that are currently all dps.

    I would like:
Warlock: Demonic Tanking or a "blood" magic-esque healing spec.
    Priest: Holy DPS
    DK: Spell based range tank
    Rogue: Evasion tanking
    Mage: "Time" based healing
Hunter: Range tank with heavy pet usage
    Paladin: Range holy dps
    Shaman: DW tanking

    P.S. Druids already have a 4th spec..

I would like to see a time-related healing spec for mages. In my head, it would work by essentially "undoing" wounds from ever occurring by manipulating small pockets of time. i.e. Someone gets smacked, the mage encases them in a time rift and transports them back in time a few seconds to before the wound occured, thus they are "healed."

That concept could also open the door to manipulating buff/debuff durations and stuff like that.

I don't understand why people keep demanding fourth specs or think Blizzard would do it, when Guardian already existed as part of the Feral tree for Druids. Druids didn't really get a fourth spec; they just had one spec split into two. Compared to adding new fourth specs to every class, the amount of effort it took to "add" Guardian to druids was virtually nil.

I wonder if any classes will get fourth spec options on friday.

This is the last week our imaginations can run wild you know, once the video rolls and we get the expansion features this sort of speculation ends. A little bit sad.

P.S. Time based healing spec for Mages!

No. Don't even think about it. Balance of WoW is already hard to maintain. They should focus on fixing other things than creating just another spec for everyone.

    Warlock: Anima-based spec
Mage:Chrono ( fully time based spec)

this is a very good idea
