Pedophiles like homosexuals cannot help their sexual preference, that is, they cannot help themselves. Yet the media in the West has completely demonised pedophiles as these monsters that kidnap children and lock them up in their basement to satiate their supposed perversion.


I'm not promoting pedophilia because it does hurt the child in the long run but I am talking about non-acting pedophiles that are secretly attracted to children.

Paedophilia has a power difference. There is pretty much always some coercion going on when a paedophile has sex with a child. And sex that wouldn't happen without coercion is rape.

Having sexual relations with minors is illegal.

Show them pictures of nude children (nothing sexual, just... You know; bathing, or at a swimming poor, or the beach or something), as well as nudes of adults in suggestive poses. Gauge their responses, heart rate, pupil dilation, breathing, muscle responses, blood pressure and such...
And you should have a good understanding.

Also, when someone comes in and says 'Doctor, I get turned on by children,' I think that's a pretty clear signal right there.

Aren't homosexuals getting a lot of crap from religious people and in many less advanced countries? Saying mankind accepts them is wrong. Pedophilia is accepted in certain cultures where they marry and bed children at that.

What is seriously hurting this discussion in media is that they seem to refuse to distinguish between pedophiles and pedosexuals. And my spelling checker hasn't heard of the word pedosexuals... Anyway, what I mean is that there are many pedophiles out there who are just as outraged and disturbed by the thought of people having sex with children as you are. It's hard to say no when your body-chemistry is screaming at you to have sex with children, and if you demonize these people and make them social outcasts it will only make it harder for them, because they have no one to talk to and much less to lose. At least everyone else gets porn.

By all means, throw child-molesters off the highest buildings, or lock them up and melt the key down before throwing it away so it can never be used again. But please, talk about pedophiles like they're normal human beings, demonizing them is hurting everyone involved, including the children.

There's ways to cheat that test. Maybe while he's looking at pictures of kids, he's thinking of naked men/women over the age of consent. That would cause a false positive. Also the 2nd example could also be fake.
