    Legendary pvp quest?

Why cant we get a legendary pvp quest?
It could involve getting a certain amount of rating in arena.
Getting a certain amount of killingblows in bg or rbgs.
Earning a certain amount of conquest points.
And become exalted with some pvp things etc?

unfortunately legendaries (minus the cape) are pretty notorious for being ridiculously OP in arenas, bgs, Ect.
I can't see of having something so strong in arena and having it balanced, I would suggest a tabard or some kind of enchant, but then again there are 2200 enchants and 2500 tabard.

wait on the Beta for WOD, we'll see how the arshan zone turns out.

No, s11 was not really fun when meeting sub rouges with legendary daggers

2200 in arena and rbg with some grindy part random bgs, skirmishes or something = a cloak with some flashy epeen activate is about the only legendary thing that pvp "needs"

I don't think a Legendary would quite work out, but I'd love some more cosmetics. Especially ones like Grom Hellscream's banner that he wears on his back, that you receive from buying the Reaper of Souls Digital Deluxe. They'd be pretty awesome looking, but honestly now that I look at them they'd be more fitting for a guild.

I don't know... at least something other than a title, mount or different colour scheme of the same PvP set. Something that really jumps out at you (like this banner).

I would love if they gave us more interesting trinkets.

    (1) Arenas & rated bbs are supposed to be about superior tactics and skill. Not superior gear.

    (2) Because of that, I have always felt that legendaries in arenas/rated BGs should not be allowed period.

On a side note why is the legendaries for melee are just so superior (and more of them)?

I mean vanilla if you came up against a rogue or warrior with Thunderfury you were almost dead before you saw them.

Twin Glaives... was equally as rough.

Shadowmourne for the few people that actually got it was just brutal.

Thoridal (also few had it when it mattered) was undeniably a dps increase but not incredibly OP.

Same with Dragonwrath, dps increase for sure, but did you have a knee jerk reaction to run from a fight when you saw your opponent had one... not at all.

Hammer of ancient kings again most situations definite utility to be had. Be even while it was relevant it was situational.

Non-melee have really received the shaft in that regard. Lets make a legendary (non-melee) that actually makes people wanna tuck tail, and run.

I agree with this. Maybe something similar to how all of wotlk PvP sets were designed. But on a single season basis. Lame looking =====>all the way to=====>incredibly badass.

You want the basic design you just do random BGs for honor, conquest for a little bit cooler, 2200+ for awesome, top 5% for totally badass.

Does it mean a lot more work for the artists? Yes absolutely. Is it worth it? I think so. Rewards (the lifeblood of any mmo) should be making the player feel more powerful and or cool/unique.

Personally I feel like Blizzard misses this mark time and time again regarding this (lifeblood theory) rewards (either for time invested or skill) should be appropriately distributed. To this day Blizzard gives too much for minimal effort, and not enough for extensive effort. I believe that imbalance is a huge reason they can't retain players.

What we need in the game is less difference between geared players and new players/alt, not more.

I have 4 alts that I can't stand play more than 1 bg with because it is an absolute terrible experience to be stomped by better geared players over and over and over. Other than that, how would they balance it? Each class scales different with different stats.

Finally, we had a similiar thing in s12, it was the elite 2/2 weapons. Remember what happened? People exploiting RBGs ratings, people selling RBG rushes and, in the end, the lowest participation season ever, as anyone who didn't earn the weapons were in an absolutely insane disavantage against those who had it. I knew many people who got back in the game and left a week later because there was no way to recap to the point of being competitive.
