We also have Dark Iron Dwarves and other dwarves and yet other dwarves (sorry..crap with Lore) and I bet we even have more Troll tribes, so why would a complete faction not be split into several parties and factions? It is almost like political parties and even them splintering up.

You would have a point if those hordes were not prominent and in your face compared to other factions. The only other faction that recieves heavy content feature in form of patches, expansions or books are trolls, where one of its factions is also Horde. But hey I should just STFU about faction favorism right?

It'd be nice if "Horde" didn't directly translate into "New Group of Orcs" though. There are 6 races in the Horde, but where's the Tauren love? They're a lot more interesting than "Oh look, a new Orc started a new 'real Horde', how exciting..."

Dark horde - or whatever guys in blackrockspire were called, had ogres and forest trolls.
