How do you get so poor performance? I'm running with i7 950 and 560ti, get around 50-60 FPS with everything on highest minus ubersampling and blur effect O.o

The pre-order costs $18 in my region with all the discounts (-20% loyal fan) - My, I feel cheap now.
All right, gentleperchildren, let's review. The year is 2024 - that's two-zero-two-four, as in the 21st Century's perfect vision - and I am sorry to say the world has become a pussy-whipped, Brady Bunch version of itself, run by a bunch of still-masked clots ridden infertile senile sissies who want the Last Ukrainian to die so they can get on with the War on China, with some middle-eastern genocide on the side

    For me it`d be: £36.49 (27% saving-£13.49)
(Fair Price Package (you’ll get $11.98 (£7.13) back)

    I`d take your $18 (£10.71) any day

Well, it should - and it will look fabulous on a high end PC

This is the first single player game in years I'm actually preordering ... no DLC shenanigans, engine optimized for a PC (hopefully from the start this time), not held back by PS3/Xbox360 restrictions... and it's only 59,99€ - 16,20€ = 43,79€ (- 11,98€ in "Store Credit") ... eh 31,98€ if I'm not completely stupid. That's quite a deal for a major release ...

I'm so tempted by that CE, it is VERY expensive. But.. never got one in the previous games and as this is the last of the series I may put in the extra money as a testament of how much I loved it <3

This game will unlock in approximately 9 months, 1 week, 2 days and 21 hours
Kind of silly that it's on pre-order already =/ CDPR need the advance money to finish the game?

Most likely just want the publicity in light of E3. By allowing pre-orders right before E3, they're effectively shifting a large part of the gaming community's attention to them, which works better than most other forms of marketing.
Aside from that, GoG and CDPR are doing fairly well these past few months. The popularity of these trailers and preorders also helps to satisfy investors and secure their backing.

I saw this thread back on the front page so updated the OP a bit.

Be warned, if you want to learn about these relationships through original means, be that book or game, then you should NOT highlight the text below.
The information given out is much shorter than this introduction to the possible spoiler, but I wanted to make sure to give ample warning beforehand.

    (Spoiler was here)

    Highlighting ends here.

Thank you for that info, didn't know what. I knew it was right for me to choose Shani in the first game!

The statue from the other CE with Geralts face was sooo bad. So I hesitant on getting another CE from Witch cause of that face!

Damn nice trailer. The narration is a bit off at times but nothing so bad it'd really distract.

Kinda funny because Dragon Age will probably have tons of DLC which will be paid DLC ofc while any DLC (if any) that is released with the Witcher 3 will be free.

Actually...no. Well some minor dlcs like enhanced edition, new weapons etc will be free, but new content like quests, new storyline etc., will be paid. Ofc the paid content, as they said, will be expansion size, so no effin 1 hour content for 20$

No. CDPR already said that all the DLCs for The Witcher 3 are going to be free.

I am fairly certain that I have read every single interview they've given and not once have I heard them mention any possible expansions for Witcher 3.
I have heard them talk about supporting it after launch, basically doing the same thing they did for Witcher 2, including an enhanced edition with additional content, but never did they mention any expansions.
Could you provide a source for that, as you've made me very curious about this.

As i said, minor DLC (they don't call it as DLC) will be free, but only big content, expansion size, may be charged

What is with this "dragon age vs witcher" they are completely different games. Must be some kind of an inferiority complex on part of the people doing the comparing.

    I claim the hundredth post!

OT: I don't see any major expansion content coming out until the Christmas of 2015, so our wallets should be safe for a while after release.
