Re:Zero seriously took me by surprise. Might be the surprise of the season. So many great things about it. First episode was fun and adorable, but second episode was pure hype. Especially the end. Satella's character design is really well done. When they do the close up of her eyes at the very last scene, it felt like it had a lot of emotion behind it. Kind of feels like the style of Katanagatari and OreShura. I love how the MC handled repeating time. Complete disbelief all the way up until the end. Of course as viewers we think he's not thinking it through, but in that situation I can see him acting like that. Overall I really like the MC though. He's fairly strong, and not completely senseless.
Definitely excited for more. More than excited for more. Hearing this is two-cour makes me really happy.
I'm reading a lot of comments saying it's going to get really brutal later on, and it's essentially a darker Steins;Gate. Sounds fun.Last edited by Zatheyll; 2016-04-04 at 06:41 AM.
