True, but there are some weapons/skillsets in the game that are just horrible and you'll never take. I know it was a nightmare to balance, but IMO it was well worth it as I had tons of fun just making builds in GW. Also this may sound weird but i miss Droks Runs. It was a fun thing to do, especially when you raced

A questline that was TSW quality, with dialogue cinematics done SWTOR style.

No loading screens like most of WoW. A fully persistent world that players can phase into to keep the great megaserver features.

Class System from ToS is pretty fantastic on its own. Doing this with GW2 could be very interesting.

You are right. ToS is Tree of Savior, one of the new MMO's of 2016.

Let's be honest, it's ragnarok online if it did the adv classes well, gosh i miss RO.
Cod has a new campaign, new weapons, new multiplayer levels every year. Zelda has been recycling the same weapons, villains, and dungeons since the 80's. Zelda recycles enough to make cod blush. The same weapons, villains, dungeons, and princess in every single Zelda for the most part. It's almost as cheesy as bowser vs Mario round 35

I actually love the old system in Ragnarök Online where you had to do a test to get your class. Some of those tests were mini-storylines with very interesting characters. Also, some were hard, and I do mean HARD. When you completed some of them, you'd feel like a champion. I miss RO too. ToS is good, but not as good as that old game that I come back and back again just to see how things are.

A better an more cohesive questing system, instead of random grindy-repetitive events. Never gotten a character past lv. 30, but I still love the game. I just don't like grindy MMOs with too much repetitiveness in early-game.

The repetitiveness really only starts at max level. You can level up just fine without doing any of the dynamic events.

I would add player housing buildings where you can get randomized missions and send out NPC's to do them for you and then implement most of the content around that idea, but also make progression almost dependent on upgrading your housing.

    That sounds horribly like garrisons.

That's the thing. The Dynamic Events made it fun for me, but there were so few of them per zone, I got worn out quite quickly.

I agree, Dynamic Events are fun. But much like quests in wow there really isn't that much variance in them.

Escort this thing to this place
Kill all the enemies trying to attack us until the timer runs out
Go pick up all the stuff around here and turn it in to me

That's basically all the dynamic events there are :/

At least the quests in WoW had some sort of sustenance (substenance?), as in you'd do them with a specific goal in mind -especially when Cataclysm hit. Entire zone-wide missions that told a story, instead of droll "Spiders are attacking my trees! Kill as much as you can in five minutes!"
This doesn't mean I'm saying all Dynamic Events in GW2 were droll, but most of them were.

That's exactly what I mean. The expansion did a lot to improve upon that. Like when GW2 was announced it was going to be a persistent world where doing or not doing the events would have broad far reaching impacts. That sort of happened, but it was pretty localized. Hell i remember purposefully failing an event because I knew a better event would spawn after, which led to an even better event.

Also i think substenance was the word you're looking for.

The Coiled Watch fail farm just started resounding in my mind. It was especially horrid when people needed to complete that entire event chain for the living story quest a year or two ago. It has since been nerfed to the point there's no need to intentionally fail it anymore since the reset timer for it isn't near as short after failing as it was back then.
