They better significantly change Gazlowe then since Probius is better than him in virtually every way. The talent to have cannons see stealthed, fire over obstacles, and do so at a 25% increased damage is insanely powerful.

Gazlowe should have always been like Tinker from dota 2. Remove his turrets entirely, give him a rocket barrage attack in addition to his laser and bomb. Ultimates are fine.

also super excited to play him, kinda sad that photon cannons only last a few seconds though, and that pylons are limited, shoulda been pylons limited, photons last forever, or pylons unlimited photons still duration

because yes unlimited allows for blocking and for super good charges, but you get him to pop the charge, back off, wait, then go in and kill them
yea i was really hoping he was like....further down the line from abathur.
Like with him on your side its like you are 4v5 the entire game but your bases are stronger and you have more minions. Like he warped in extra minions and set up permanent turrents basically meaning if all other heroes did nothing instead of it being a stalemate your side would decimate the other easily

however that wouldnt be good at all for compeative and basically worthless i guess so its nice i'll be able to be Wall-E but still fight with building

Also i hope hes not to nervous. he's probably freaked out by the attention when he was just trying to do his job.
Romance doesnt detract from a story. Its a Genre, like horror or comedy or adventure. The game was ruined when we got Horror in drustvar or nazmir. It wasnt ruined when we had funny quests. So if you think a little man on man love ruins the game, then yes you are either a homophobe or just a spoil sport that goes "ewww kissing is yucky" like a baby. Furthermore, if a character has never expressed interest in any gender, then its not proof they are straight. straight people are not the default

    So much this.

Doesn't get more disappointing than this.

They seem to have used that concept for one of his quest talents

Later on at level 13 he can assume a support role as well with his pylons providing either shields, attack damage buff for ad teams, or ability power and mana regen for more ability/mage-centric teams.

This of course doesn't take into consideration that he can talent into increased slow or knockback with his warp rift explosion, which would be excellent for disrupting dive comps. Apparently he has good base damage on his abilities as well so I'm pretty bloody excited about him overall and his kit.
not sure how long it takes him to phase in but looks like with the right talents a common tactic will be for while the team fights he zooms over and sets up some pylons and turrents between the enemy and the most likely place they'll retreat to , either of his heroics would allow him to get a team (assist)kill that way

This looks like an awesome character. Now murky will not be the only one with a low hp pool.

I hope that we get another fun map soon though. The current ones aren't bad, nor am I getting tired of them. I just simply love what blizzard does with all those bonus objectives!

This can't be the most disappointing announcement because Valeera was the most disappointing announcement.

I don't have the mindset for specialists so I'm gonna have to see Probius in action before I can judge. It's certainly a cute idea.

I'm expecting to see Gazlowe/Probius dual comps now.

    Turrets. Turrets everywhere.

    So very excited about him

But then again, I love the "weird" heroes

Not sure if I am playing Heroes again...for now at least...
He reminds me more of a Personality Core from Portal.

I had an idea for a WSG map where teams have to secure and turn in flags to score damage against the cores.

An Alterac Valley map where instead of forts/keeps/core you have bosses that have to be slain would be interesting.

Seems cool and all, but not a Hero for me. I will still buy him though.

Definitely interested more in upcoming Anub'arak, Arthas and Gazlowe reworks.

It's not a perfect design, as I made it up on the spot at the time, but the flags would spawn at pre-determined spots that are harder to secure the further your team is pushed into your enemy. You couldn't hit the core directly either. Think of it as Towers of Doom crossed with Warhead Junction...compressed into a 2-lane map (thus reducing the mobility issue.) Secure a spawn point, channel a payload, but then you escort it back to your base. Holding the flag makes you vulnerable, you can't enter stealth, can't use active speed boost (mounts, Medivh ports, and other things of that variety) and even some ults (like Stage Dive, Nydus Worm, and Blink Heal [well, you CAN use them, but you'd drop the flag]) and obviously hearthstones would drop it too.

^Something like that. Vision and Mercs in the middle. Flags would spawn in the same lane, at the same time. Because the flags are on the same lane, the teams have to cross paths. And the further you were pushed in, the more ground you had to cover. Guard yours, or go after theirs.

I admit, it's not a fully fleshed idea, but it has the workings of a good one.
